Connection FAQ
--------------

United Football uses the network port UDP 55000 to allow players to connect to each other online.

If you are connected to the internet through a router, setting up port forwarding can solve many of the connection problems you may have been experiencing. Each type of router has a specific method for setting up port forwarding (see your router manufacturers instructions or visit www.portforward.com for exact instructions) but here are some general guidelines:

1.	Assign a static IP address to your computer (the method will vary depending on the type of Operating System your computer is running).

2.	Access your routers Admin Panel. Many routers have an interface accessed through your web browser (see your routers documentation for details).

3.	Create new router rules (and/or services) to forward port 55000 UDP to the static IP address you setup in step 1 for the inbound connection.

4. If you have a software firewall (eg Windows Firewall or ZoneAlarm) then, when you first run UnitedFootball, ensure you click on ok in the popup box to allow the game to access the internet.

For more detailed information we recommend you visit www.portforward.com or your router manufacturer's website.
